Visiting class from Indiana Christian Academy

Hi, I enjoyed having the Juniors from Mrs. Rooks’s class at the Indiana Christian Academy come to the library for a visit to learn about how to use our online databases and searching the Internet. They were a great class and how some good questions. They are welcome back anytime as is any class that wants to visit the library!

Thanks to Mrs. Sipes’s classes!

I had fun today at SSMS booktalking with the 8th graders in Mrs. Sipes’s classes.

Here are the titles that we talked about in class:

By Virgiana Euwer Wolff

Shakespeare Bats Cleanup
By Ron Koertge

Who killed Mr. Chippendale?
By Mel Glenn

Bronx Masquerade

Braid

Game Time

Do you feel like playing some Jenga, Monopoly, Sorry etc. Then come on down tomorrow to the Library to our Game Time @ APL from 3:30-5:30 up in the Delaware room!

Chocolate Fest…

was a huge success! Thanks to all that attended and I hope you had as much fun as I did. Were you sick of chocolate by the time you left? Naahhhh…..not possible, right? I think this program was a keeper, so look for it next February as well! And then there is the Pizza Taste off that I have planned for the fall!
