Join the TeenScene for our first ever SRP Literary Camp! Teens who sign up for the SRP Camp will receive a free copy of the book, Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.
The SRP Literary Camp will run from July 9-12 from 1-5pm each of those days.
The activities planned for the camp will be based around Beautiful Creatures, so teens are encouraged to read the book before then. We will also be skyping with both of the authors during the SRP Camp, so campers will be able to ask questions and speak with the authors. Other activities include a book discussion, Jeopardy! and Cranium type games, making booktrailers, writing workshops and more! Lunch will be provided to the campers.
Registration is required and space is limited. Teens can register at the Information Services Desk, where they can also pick up their copy of Beautiful Creatures.
The SRP Literary Camp is made available thanks to funding through the Dollar General/YALSA Summer Reading Grant.
