Hi! I have started my May booktalks at the middle and high schools, so if you haven’t seen me yet then chances are you will very soon!  Here are the books that I will be bringing with me for grades 9-12. We have some awesome ones this time around and in a way they all tie into our Teen Summer Reading theme: Beneath the Surface!

Scholarships through the Madison County Community Foundation

Hey! Our community is very fortunate to have the Madison County Community Foundation and the services that it provides. Did you know that they offer a variety of scholarships that you can apply for? Yep! In fact, now is the time to apply for their general scholarships! The application process is open and you must submit applications before March 19, 2013. We are excited to announce that the entry into this year’s TeenScene Film Fest is now open! Teens may submit films in the following categories: Animation, Documentary, Feature, Experimental, “Mock”umentary”, Music Video, and Booktrailer! The deadline to enter your film is December 1, 2012 and we will showcase the winners at the 2nd Annual TeenScene Film Fest on December 15, 2012!!
